Booking Terms & Event Rules

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. Booking Contract

By completing a booking for Derby Deaf Events, you agree to enter into a contract with Derby Deaf Events for the event tickets, food, and any additional extras selected at checkout.

2. Booking Information

You must provide accurate and up-to-date contact details when making your booking. Your tickets and QR code will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

All child tickets must be booked by a responsible adult.

3. Payment

Full payment may be made through Stripe, PayPal, or Square.

Where available, you may also choose a monthly UK bank transfer payment plan. Your booking will remain unpaid or partially paid until all required instalments have been received and cleared.

Please include your booking reference when making a bank transfer.

4. Tickets & Entry

Each guest must have a valid QR ticket to gain entry to the event.

Entry will only be permitted once the booking has been paid in full. Unpaid bookings, incomplete payment plans, or bookings with outstanding balances will not be accepted for entry.

Tickets are linked to the booking and may be cancelled or made invalid if they are misused, duplicated, or otherwise abused.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Bookings are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend the event on the day, the booking fee will not be refunded and the money will automatically be donated to charity.

If you cannot attend, please contact David Leader before the event and provide the reason for your cancellation.

Purchasing an event ticket gives you access to the event and any items specifically included in your booking. You will receive an email from Derby Deaf Events containing a link to the relevant website and further information about your booking.

You must present your valid QR code when arriving at the event.

6. Event Rules

All guests must follow the event rules and reasonable instructions provided by Derby Deaf Events and event staff.

This includes rules relating to noise, vehicles, health and safety, and general behaviour on the event site.

Failure to follow event rules may result in refusal of entry or removal from the event without a refund.

7. Privacy

Information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
